USA: accident at Three Mile Island nuclear plant

No, it's not any flashback from 1979, today Thursday September 20th 2012, the old but still working Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station, Pennsylvania, has had another accident of dimension still unknown, hopefully minor.

The details are still confusing but the plant has been shut down.

According to the CNN a refrigerator pump failed, what caused the automatic shutdown. There was however a high volume steam ejection, allegedly normal, that alarmed residents.

The Three Mile Island nuclear power plant has been working for 38 years already and is infamous for the worst nuclear accident known to have happened in US history. In spite of that it seems it continues working "normally".
