I recently mentioned the scandal of hospital kitchen privatization in the Chartered Community of Navarre. In spite of the scandal and the risk for patients the situation has not improved the least, on the contrary. In protest and at the risk of his life, Manuel Gómez, a diabetic patient in the public Hospital Virgen del Camino has initiated a hunger strike.
A demonstration has been called for this Friday in solidarity.
