Turkish police has almost exhausted already all its tear and pepper gas stock, which, before the protests, it was expected to last until at least 2015. In the last days police agents were seen in many locations collecting the gas canisters they had previously thrown against the People, surely in order to reuse them. Estimations are of at least 130,000 tear gas canisters used in the brutal repression that the Turkish people has and is still suffering.
The Turkish government is already scheduling a new purchase of this kind of weapons, as well as other riot police equipment such as armored vehicles, water cannons, etc. In the last few years the autocratic government has wasted some $ 21 millions in chemical anti-protest weapons.
