Greece: re-occupation of residential squat ends with police attack and many arrested

The residential squat Orfanotrofio of Thessaloniki was evicted in early September and re-occupied today. However police was determined to impede it and proceeded to kettle all the people gathered in the streets and, then, to raid the building, arresting all those inside.

As they were being driven to police dungeons the squatters chanted "the passion for freedom is stronger than all prisons".
